About me.

Hi, my name is Marie Boulanger. I have completed a Bachelor of Design (Industrial Design) (Honours) at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), with secondary studies of Interior Design. What drives me as a designer is being passionate about the design process, ways of solving problems and finding new solutions to existing problems.

I am an ambitious and multi-skilled broad thinker with a sharp mind, a creative eye, and a strong passion for product design manufacturing, prototyping & user research. I have worked with multi-disciplinary design teams on various projects utilising activity models, market research and observational analysis to both define problems and provide solutions for specific users.

I have accomplished leading teams throughout my degree in various projects, that created the ability to develop productive working relationships and maintaining exceptional standards. The combination of my Bachlor of Design majors has given me the unique advantage of having a wealth of experience to allow me to lead with confidence and communicate with stakeholders, clients, end-users and designers at all levels.

My philosophy:

“Design is all about creations, ergonomics, aesthetics and usability. I believe that design defines and anticipates our needs and impacts every aspect of our lives.  Design is honestly all about collaboration, where design takes the combination of imagination, creativity and industrial innovation, and places it together to reveal a successful manufactured product.”
